Sobeys Christmas in July

Visit any city of Edmonton Sobeys and purchase a $10 or $15 Hamper of Hope throughout July in support of Edmonton’s Food Bank. Donations can be left in the marked Food Bank donation bins at the store.

Heritage Festival Brown Bag It Food Drive

Come out and enjoy the cultures in Hawrelak Park over the August long-weekend July 31, August 1 and 2, 2010. Admission is free, but donations to the Food Bank is appreciated. Note: no public parking available on-site during the festival. For more information, please visit the Edmonton Heritage Festival Association website. Edmonton’s Food Bank is looking for volunteers to help with the collection of food and monetary donations as well as unused food tickets. Spread the Feeling

Smoothie and Crunchie are giving out bear hugs at West Edmonton Mall on Saturday, August 14, 2010. For each hug, Kraft Canada will donate a jar of peanut butter to Edmonton’s Food Bank.

Purolator Tackle Hunger Football Game

Join the Edmonton Eskimos on August 28, 2010 as they Tackle Hunger for the Food Bank. Non-perishable food and monetary donations will be gratefully accepted at all entrances into Commonwealth Stadium.
